Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • baking sheet
  • hand mixer
  • cookie scoop

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to cream them together until smooth and fluffy. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing well. Then, add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers remain soft. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
