  • 1 pound sirloin steak Cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning For seasoning the steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the steak
  • 8 ounces rigatoni pasta Holds the cheesy sauce well
  • 2 cups heavy cream Base for the creamy sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds cheesy flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adds depth to the sauce
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning
  • to taste fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and toss with Cajun seasoning. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook marinated steak cubes for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a simmer and whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Add cooked rigatoni and steak back to the skillet. Toss to coat and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
