Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Prepare your ingredients by dicing the onion and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the crushed tortilla chips, half of the beef mixture, half of the sour cream, and 1 cup of cheese. Repeat layers.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
