  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients including cottage cheese, tuna, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, olive oil, lemon juice, dried dill, salt, and pepper.
  2. Open the can of tuna and drain the water thoroughly. Place the tuna in a medium-sized mixing bowl and break it into smaller pieces.
  3. Add the cottage cheese to the bowl with the tuna and stir gently to combine.
  4. Add the halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, and finely chopped red onion. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, dried dill, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the mixture and fold everything together gently.
  5. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning if needed. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
