- Wash your hands and ensure your workspace is clean. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions (8-10 minutes). Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Add the cooked linguine and toss to combine.
- Garnish with parsley and optional Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
