Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute. Add heavy cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until cheese melts and sauce is smooth.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
