Cranberries

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients including cranberries, sugar, water, orange, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Rinse cranberries under cold water, sort, and discard any soft or damaged ones.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries, orange juice, zest, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Transfer to a serving dish or airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
