Avocados
  • 2 pieces ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Gather your ingredients: ripe avocados, feta cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and spices.
  2. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl. Mash until smooth but slightly chunky.
  3. Crumble the feta cheese into the bowl with the mashed avocados.
  4. Add lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes.
