Bananas
  • 2 large ripe bananas Look for bananas with a few brown spots for sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Prevents browning of banana slices.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) Adds extra flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) For added sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt Balances sweetness.

Method
 

  1. Select large, ripe bananas with a few brown spots.
  2. Peel and slice the bananas into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine banana slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, salt, and honey or maple syrup. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Arrange banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Remove the chips and let them cool completely on a cooling rack or paper towels before storing.
