  • 2 slices bread Choose your favorite, like sourdough or whole wheat.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Softened.
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni Or any toppings you love.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Method
 

  1. Gather your ingredients: bread, butter, cheese, pizza sauce, toppings, and seasonings.
  2. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Assemble the sandwich by placing one slice of bread buttered side down in a heated skillet, adding cheese, pizza sauce, toppings, and the second slice of bread buttered side up.
  4. Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove from skillet, let cool for a minute, slice in half, and serve warm.
