Ingredients
  

Cannoli Shell Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cannoli Cream Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for the cream)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Combine all-purpose flour, softened butter, water, salt, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until a smooth dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and remaining vanilla extract. Continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out chilled dough to 1/8 inch thick and cut into 3-inch circles. Wrap each circle around a cannoli mold and seal edges with water.
  4. Bake wrapped molds for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly, then remove molds from shells.

Notes
