Method
- Combine all-purpose flour, softened butter, water, salt, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until a smooth dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and remaining vanilla extract. Continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out chilled dough to 1/8 inch thick and cut into 3-inch circles. Wrap each circle around a cannoli mold and seal edges with water.
- Bake wrapped molds for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly, then remove molds from shells.
