  • 1 cup milk whole milk preferred
  • 1/2 cup honey star ingredient for sweetness
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for binding
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder for leavening
  • 1 teaspoon salt to enhance flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper for a subtle kick
  • 2 large eggs for richness
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for creamy flavor
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine corn kernels, milk, honey, and melted butter. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add to the corn mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  4. Beat the eggs in a small bowl and fold into the batter. Gently fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the casserole cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
