Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
  2. Prepare the orange zest using a microplane or fine grater.
  3. Melt the chocolate by heating the heavy cream until it simmers, then add the chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
  4. Combine the melted chocolate with orange extract, orange zest, and salt.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until firm enough to scoop.
  6. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  7. Chill the formed truffles for another 30 minutes.
  8. Coat the truffles in cocoa powder or powdered sugar and chill again for 30 minutes.
