Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients: milk, sugar, flour, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  3. Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the pie to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
