Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian sweet rolls Soft and sweet, the star of the show.
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, sliced Rich and tangy flavor.
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced Creamy texture for gooey goodness.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened For a golden, crispy exterior.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances overall taste.
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional) Adds flavor and color.

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients including Hawaiian rolls, cheeses, butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
  3. Layer sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese on the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Spread half of the garlic butter mixture on the cut side of the bottom half of the rolls, then layer the cheese, and spread the remaining garlic butter on top.
  5. Wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and rolls are golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven, unwrap, and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual sandwiches.
