- Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Pat it dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once shimmering, place the steak in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes without moving it.
- Flip the steak, add garlic, butter, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet. Baste the steak with the melted butter and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
