Gather all your ingredients: saltine crackers, unsalted butter, brown sugar, chocolate chips, and sea salt.
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
In a medium saucepan, combine the unsalted butter and packed brown sugar. Place over medium heat and stir constantly until it comes to a boil. Let it bubble for 3 minutes without stirring.
Pour the hot caramel mixture over the arranged saltine crackers and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Bake the crackers for 5-7 minutes until the caramel is bubbly. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot caramel. Let sit for 2-3 minutes to soften, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
