  • 1 pound smoked sausage sliced into rounds
  • 4 cups green cabbage chopped
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Method
 

  1. Prepare all ingredients: slice the sausage, chop the cabbage, slice the onion, and mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle in the paprika, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to coat the sausage and cabbage evenly.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce and apple cider vinegar over the mixture. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.
