Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the mixed dried fruit, chopped nuts, and white chocolate chips.
  5. Drop rounded portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle sparkling sugar on top before baking.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  7. Once cooled, you can add more sparkling sugar on top if desired. Enjoy your cookies!
