Method
- Marinate the chicken thighs in half of the teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Prepare the teriyaki sauce by whisking together the remaining teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Shred the cooked chicken and mix it with the prepared teriyaki sauce in the slow cooker. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
