- Whisk together olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Coat the flank steak with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little olive oil.
- Remove the steak from the marinade, discard the marinade, and cook the steak for 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
