Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the cooking process smoother.
  2. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Chop the onion, mince the garlic, and grate the ginger.
  4. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion for 5 minutes until translucent, then add garlic and ginger for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth, water, chicken, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  6. Let the soup simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
