Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 ounces cheese tortellini provides a cheesy and satisfying base
  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking the steak
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream key to a rich and velvety sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese adds depth and savory flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning enhances the overall taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • pot

Method

  1. Cut the sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In a pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions, about 3-5 minutes until they float. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked tortellini and steak back into the skillet. Toss gently until well coated in the sauce and heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
